Up with the sparrows to pack up the van and tent and off to our house sit

we went.



Once we arrived we just unpacked the bare essentials as the boys (the dogs)

were getting restless. They were clearly telling us it was time for the

beach. It is a bit of an exercise getting them on their leads and into the

car as Rocky is a big boned Labrador and Samson, although only a year old,

is a beautiful but very large French mastiff. Rex is the easy one and sits

nicely on Rachel's lap.



All in all the first trip with the boys was a success. They are actually

well trained and look after themselves. There were a few other dogs on the

beach this morning and we didn't want to tempt fate first up so kept the

dogs on their leash for the majority of the time.



Once we got home it was time to get ourselves in order. We piled our

things into the house and almost immediately turned the air conditioning

on......ah! By the time we finished up lunch we were spent so it has been

a quiet afternoon catching up on those unavoidable choirs like washing.



The best news is there is foxtel; I am yet to see any NBA this season

(blasphemy) and there is a replay of this morning's Bulls and Celtics game

about to start so this is where I sign off.......
