We successfully turned in our rented Camry after completing 2500 km in 2 weeks along the east coast from Brisbane to Cape Howe, then over to Melbourne.
Today we explored the Italian part of Melbourne, then spent 1 1/2 hours in the Art Gallery which is housed in an ultra-modern building complex. Besides seeing a lot of Australian art, Aboriginal art, and European art, I really enjoyed an exhibition of hats designed by famous Melbourne Millener, Thomas Harrison from early 1900's to 1970's.
On our many journeys, we like to explore the local sights, foods and drinks. We shop in markets and do some of our own cooking, if possible. I like to write about my travels while the experiences are fresh in my mind.... full info
