3kg of luggage for 3 weeks in South East Asia? Challenge accepted!

We're about to embark on a travel challenge; "How light can the Scrubba wash bag allow you to travel?"

For those not familiar with the Scrubba wash bag, it is a lightweight device for washing clothes while traveling that allows you to do your laundry wherever and whenever you want. The following link shows it in more detail: http://igg.me/p/54387?a=337562.

We put the question out there regarding a trip to South East Asia for 3 weeks and responses varied from 20 kg to 5 kg. Well, we reckon the Scrubba wash bag allows you to travel so clean, light and free, we can do it with less than 3 kilos each, while still bringing luxuries such as our iphones, ipods and ebook readers. Just because you travel light, doesn't mean you can't travel in comfort and style.

So a cheap return plane ticket between Melbourne and Ho Chi Min City was bought. And now we're off to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos with the clothes on our backs and both carrying an extra pair of shorts, an extra T-shirt and an extra pair of jocks. Three countries in three weeks with less than three kilos of luggage (In fact, as shown below, we each had around 2.7kg of luggage and clothes).

Mingling and scrubbing with the locals and other travelers alike, the Scrubba wash bag will be used every day, tested in extreme conditions in extreme locations. Here goes nothing....literally, pretty much!
