Well on the road again but this time it’s going to be the long trip home across the Nullarbor. Marg took the wheel first today as Warwick had already done this section from Norseman to Kalgoorlie a few days ago.

We arrived at Norseman and filled up probably the last cheap fuel before we reach South Australia 162.9 c/l and rang Karen to inform her that we were starting the crossing and we will ring in about 5 days from Ceduna.

The day was nice and warm bordering on hot. First fuel stop was at Balladonia at 198.9c/l so the rest will hurt for price. As Warwick filled the car Marg went and got ice blocks for everyone including the dogs and continued on for about 50 k’s just short of ½ way along the longest straight in Australia.

We stopped at Woorlba homestead free stop on the side of the hwy. It was about 2.30pm and we were the first there. It seemed o/k so we stayed the night by late afternoon there was about 6 other vans there.
