Went to Kuranda and looked around the markets and up and down the streets. Then we went to the train station and Skyrail terminal. We bought tickets to ride the Skyrail from Kuranda to Caravonica (near Cairns). On the way down, we stopped at Barron Falls and Red Peak. At the bottom we had an ice cream whilst waiting for Mum’s taxi to pick us up. We went into Cairns and walked along the foreshore and marina. We had a look at the Cairns Night Markets - lots of Chinese imports, Chinese massages and Chinese food.

Went to the Port Douglas markets and I saw some coconut faces (which remind Dad of Iain - only joking). I really liked them, so I bought one and Mum & Dad bought one called the House Protector. We are calling him Horace or Boris. On the way back to camp, we saw some hang gliders taking off. There were about 12 of them, some were in the sky already, others were still setting up.
