Mount Isa

6th November 2012.

Another warm morning and after breakfast, we headed into Mt Isa. Once in Mt Isa, we started calling several mechanics to have Taylor fixed (After almost losing her when we drove through the dust holes on the Burke Developmental Road). We left Taylor at the mechanic and went for a drive into town. When the temperature gauge began to climb, we decided to head to the local Big4 caravan park. We spoilt ourselves and checked into a 2 bedroom, air-conditioned cabin since we didn't know when Taylor would be ready. We relaxed, had lunch, relaxed some more and headed to the pool. Ahh, we are still on holiday mode. After that horse race, Daniel got the phone call that Taylor is ready. Daniel left to fetch Taylor while we stayed at the pool and did more relaxing before retreating to our cabin as the day started to cool down. Enjoyed Nachos and relaxed in the cabin watching TV all night.
