Well the last thing on our to do list for our NQ trip was white water rafting on the world famous Tully River. After an Hour long bus ride we were there. Our river guides were John from Canada and Fabio from Peru. Unfortunately John was new to the river, so he wasn’t allowed to play around as much as some others. The rafting itself was pretty cool. The only downside was all rafts had to get through a section of rapids before continuing to the next, so with 5 rafts, it slowed the show down a little. It was a good day though as we were in a raft with and Englishmen and a couple of Irishmen. They were pretty funny and we met up with them later in the night for a few drinks.

That was the end of our trip to North Queensland. We drove home with a quick stop at Hayleys Friends house in Townsville. We had a great trip and finally found out about the sights that so many of our couchsurfers had told us about.
