We meandered around Harbour Town Gold Coast for the latter part of this morning after checking out of the caravan park. It was a lovely complex but really there is not much difference between it and Harbour Town in Adelaide. There was some time to kill after the owners of the house we are looking after had their flight delayed; however, the time passed smoothly and reconciling our budget over coffee moved things along.

Just after lunch we picked up some groceries and headed to the house. It felt like Christmas again having your own space and even the everyday tasks like making a coffee seem 10 times quicker than when you are camping on the side of the road. The dogs did not take long to get used to having us around so all in all this seems a good arrangement for all involved.
