Left Molong around 9.40 a.m.called at Dubbo for parts we needed for the water tank, cost $6 with plumber tape. That was a bit of relief instead of buying a new tank.

We cannot get the dogs to drink much while we are travelling, Bailey’s not to happy he is outside his comfort zone.

The day went pretty well travelling Marg even did some driving but could feel herself nodding off so pulled over for Warwick to take over. Filled up at up t Dubbo 164.9c /litre 45.9 litres $75.70, the next fill up was at Nyngan 168.9c/litre 31 litres $52.60.

Stopped for a free stop (truck stop) 22 kl’s south of Bourke heated up left over chinese for dinner. Tried to let the dogs have a run but ended up with burrs in their paws.

It’s our first time on our own and no-one around thought we had company people in a Winnebago but they didn’t turn their engine off, sat there for a while and headed back into Bourke. Rest stop 999 in camping 4 book, no toilets or fresh water. Just using van battery while here. Went to was up but the pup was sucking air due to water tank problem, we carry extra 20 lts on back of van we are desperate looks like washing up will wait till tomorrow.

The road here is like Moree to Goondiwindi flat and straight but very bumpy. Playing rummy tiles tonight think it ill be an early night. Marg got her porta potti out and she’s happy
