Of I go for 3 days to spend some time chilling out and admiring the most piecefull place ever, their are no phone cabels here which is nice and also the electricaty is ran from generaters. We set off on a coach with a crazy driver Viv, who left her folder on the roof of the bus before we had even left Cairns, so we had a pit stop at a cafe so she could get all the important stuff sent over by fax ops. Along the way we saw wild walabys that now live very close to the road side because thier have been so many new houses built they have been forced to live close to Captin Cook highway.

1st stop Daintree River cruise we all hopped on a boat with a tour guide with the biggest mustash ever it reached the edge of his chin, and yes we saw a croc, our guide said he was 7 meters long as he had messured by taking a photo when the croc was fully exposed, then going back latter to messure the distance between the trees. The croc we saw was very old apperantly because crocs continue to replace their

If you look real close their is a Croc laying near the bushs, it was massive
teeth and this one only had 1 left, so he could be anthing from 80-120.

From their we continued on the bus stopping once at Marrdja boardwalk, Viv pointed out the green bum ants and yes again I licked its butt, lime yum yum we were shown a tree that if you chewed in the furry bit for 2-3 hours would work as a pain killer, on the same tree if you put the stem into water for 2 hours and gave it to your bloke it is a natural form of viagra can last up to 10 hours (painfull)
Now arriving at Pks resort, this is the only place where you can get a drink other than the 2 restrants, their is 1 shop and thats it. there was 7 of us in the dorm with comunal showers and toliets. The area here is the only place in the world where 2 listed heritage places join toghter, this was magical to see the Barrier Reff touching the Rain Forrest.

2nd day up I got and off I went to the Jungle Surfing, this was soooooooo good I asked if girls could work thier it was so much fun, 4 different sections 1st was slow but very high, 2nd fast as was the 3rd, 4th you went upside down I wanted to go again the minute we stopped. I met up with a lovely girl Karin from Amsterdam we have had such a laugh playing pool, $2 a game and we only spent $4 a night we were so good, I dont know how we did it but guys kept wanting to play us which we allowed, then always on the last game we kicked butt it was a mirrorcal. Well the last day I took a hike into Dubuji Boardwalk were we came across a massive Dragon Lizard it didnt hang around long enough to get a good mug shot but I have this in my memory. So back on the bus with the rudest ginger dread locked guy who had no mic, and said if your not on my bus in time I will happiely leave without you. So we drove in silence all the way to Mossman Gorge the water was cold but hay I had to do it, the gorge is feeled with natural rain water. We went and jumped on the wobbelest rope
The sign The sign The sign

A Cassowary alive then dead very nasty bird have been known to peck someone to death
bridge for a while to scare some little kids ha ha, then back on the bus and home to Cairns. This is the most piecfull place I have been to but 2 nights 3 days was enough for me.

Deja vu...
Man it is so strange reading your journals and knowing exactly what you are talking about as I have been there too doing similar things! I forgot about licking an ant's bum! It was quite tasty! And that jungle surfing was wicked...when I did it I was the only customer, so it was me and two guy instructors...hahah :) Keep having fun! x
