FRA: Salutations de la Grande Barrière de Corail ! ENG: Greetings from the Great Barrier Reef !
ENG: Once we start putting photos online, it’s hard to stop us ! Here are some images, amongst others, of the two trips we were able to take for Style magazine editorial. The Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree rainforest: undoubtedly the two things you can’t afford to miss when in North Queensland.

FRANCAIS: Nous sommes Charlotte et Oliver, un couple de Suisses, âgés de 25 et 24 ans respectivement, qui passons une année (de fin février 2007 à la même période en 2008) en "Godzown" (surnom donné à l'Australie par ses habitants) après avoir terminé nos études.
Nous essaierons de vous maintenir au courant de nos déplacements et de vous faire savoir ce qui nous arrive le plus souvent possible. FRA: Montée à Cape Tribulation (135km au nord de Cairns) pour un week-end de détente. Ce n’est pas de l’autoroute, mais la vue le long du trajet en vaut largement la peine. ENG: Up to Cape Tribulation (135km north of Cairns) for a relaxing weekend. It isn’t a motorway, but the view along the way is well worth it.

FRA: Dans la forêt vierge, il est temps pour Clochette et Scooby Doo de faire un peu de «jungle surfing». ENG: In the rainforest, it’s time for Tinkerbell and Scooby Doo to go for a bit of «jungle surfing».

FRA: C’est un peu comme les parcours accro-branches en vachement moins bien. L’équipe fait tout à votre place et il suffit de se laisser promener d’une plateforme à l’autre (il n’y en a que quatre !). Heureusement, le décor est magnifique. ENG: It’s a bit like the “accro-branche” things we have back home, only nowhere as good. The team does everything in your place and you just have to let yourself drift from one platform to the next (there are only four !) Luckily, the setting is beautiful.

FRA: Ou cette araignée «caca d’oiseau», qui prend l’apparence et l’odeur d’une fiente pour attirer les insectes qui s’en nourrissent habituellement. ENG: Or this «bird poo» spider, which looks and smells like a dropping to attract the insects that usually feed on them.

FRA: Lors d’une marche nocturne, on découvre encore d’autres bêtes. Le crapaud de canne à sucre est une vraie plaie ici. On dit que si vous voyez un Queenslander faire un soudain écart au volant, ce n’est pas pour EVITER le crapaud... ENG: During a night walk we can see many more beasts. The cane toad is a real pest here. The saying goes that if you see a Queenslander suddenly swerving with his car, it’s not to AVOID the toad...

FRA: L’araignée Huntsman’s est plutôt impressionnante. Surtout quand on en trouve une dans notre salle de bain. ENG: The Huntsman’s spider is rather impressive. Especially when you find one in your bathroom.

FRA: Parviendrez-vous à trouver le feuillage qui se cache près de ce serpent ? ENG: Will you be able to spot the dead leaves hiding close to this snake ?

FRA: L’Eastern Water Dragon est encore un beau spécimen de lézard. ENG: The Eastern Water Dragon is yet another nice lizard specimen.
