Managed to leave Trinity Beach around 7.30 for the 400 mile trip to Airlie Beach.

As I think I have mentioned before its amazing that the maximum speed on the main Bruce Highway is largely all 62mph and everyone seems to observe this rule! It therefore took until about 4pm before we arrived in Airlie beach, with Tux doing first and last session and me doing a long middle stint. Tom Tom working really well.

The main feature along the road is just hundreds of miles of sugar cane and no evidence of the flooding early in the year.
Apartment was very nice, spread over 2 floors and had wonderful views out to sea. That evening we ate in the restaurant on the complex. Just before going down, we cracked open the last bottle of bubbly we had been given and to our amazement a parakete landed on the balcony, which I've captured in pictures.
