Weihnachtsfruehstueck

Frohes neues Jahr!!!! Hallo liebe Leut' - nun bin ich fast schon ein ganzes Jahr ohne Unterbrechung in Australien!!!! Wo ist nur die Zeit geblieben!!!! Ich hoffe, ihr seit alle super ins neue Jahr reingerutscht!
Meine Weihnachtszeit war sehr schoen, obwohl es sich eigentlich ueberhaupt nicht wie Weihnachten angefuehlt hat! Am 1. Januar hatten wir !46 Grad! im Schatten. Angeblich der 2. heisseste Tag in Sydney's Geschichte. Ja, ja die armen Leute die nen Kater hatten, die mussten sicherlich besonders leiden. Ich haett mich fast tot geschwitzt, denn mein Auto hat ja keine Klimaanlage. Am Strand konnte man nicht liegen, also musste ich alle 30 Minuten duschen 😊
Aber zurueck zu Weihnachten - eine heisse Weihnacht is einfach kein 'richtiges' Weihnachten. Nichts desto trotz habe ich eine schoene Zeit verbracht und mich gut abgelenkt, so dass das Heimweh nicht zu sehr hochkommen konnte.
Weihnachten wird hier ja am 25. Dezember gefeiert und die meisten Familien treffen sich fuer ein Mittagessen mit kaltem Bueffet, weil es ja meistens tierisch heiss ist. Naja das haben wir dann auch gemacht! Morgens war ich bei Freunden zum Fruehstueck eingeladen und dann mittags haben wir uns alle bei Ryan getroffen.
A real Christmas Tree
Sieht nicht so aus wie bei uns - kein Wunder bei der Hitze Seine Familie hat uns Europaer (Nille, Jesper - Nille's Bruder und mich) herzlich aufgenommen, denn die fanden es ganz schrecklich, dass wir so ohne Familien an Weihnachten waren. So gab es dann auch einen Baum, Geschenke und leckeres Essen. Danach sind wir dann zur Abwechslung mal an den Strand gegangen, der nur 2 Minuten von Ryan's Wohnung entfernt ist. Hach das ist schon komisch, da schwingt man sich in die Wellen und bei uns im Norden schneits - echt luuuschtig. Naja, ist halt anders, aber sicherlich nicht schlechter! Dann am 2. Weihnachtstag haben wir eine Party mit all unseren Freunden geschmissen. Morgens ging's los mit einem typisch Australischen Barbeque, dann Strand, dann wieder grillen, dann wieder Strand usw. Wir Maedels haben uns leckere Caipirinha's gemixt - mmmmhhh lecker! Naja, ihr koennt euch ja denken, wie der Abend geendet hat........
Sylvester war der absolute Oberknaller! Ich war mit Nille, Jesper, Marijana und zwei anderen Freunden auf einer Hafenrundfahrt. Es ging um 19 Uhr los. Ihr koennt euch die Menschenmassen gar nicht vorstellen, die ueberall gessessen bzw in ihren Booten auf das Feuerwerk gewartet haben. Die Stimmung auf dem Wasser war gigantisch! Um 21 Uhr gab es dann das erste Feuerwerk

Nu sieht man ihn auch und dann am Ende leuchtete ein riesen Herz auf der Harbour Bridge, dass das Zeichen fuer alle Boote gab, ihre Lichterketten anzumachen. Alle Boote waren mit Herzen jeglicher Art ausgestattet - total genial! Dann hiess es warten auf Mitternacht. Wir haben uns natuerlich koestlich amuesiert mit Zigarren rauchen und Modell spielen - hach das Kind in mir war begeistert! Dann kam das Feuerwerk! Es war einfach genial!!!!!!! Wir sind alle voll durchgedreht! Ja, das war mein Sylvester! Nicht so feucht froehlich wie letztes Jahr, aber doch sehr sehr schoen!.
Tja, nun habe ich seit Anfang Januar einen Job bis ich mich dann Mitte Februar Richtung Adelaide aufmache, um mich mit meiner Reisegruppe inklusive meiner Mutter zu treffen. Ui da freu ich mich schon drauf. 4 Wochen im Wohnmobil, da wird's sicherlich die ein oder andere Geschichte geben.
Haltet die Ohren steif und meldet euch doch mal. Ich freue mich immer ueber jegliche Mails, auch wenn sie noch so kurz sind. Ich versuch mich dann auch ganz schnell wieder zurueckzumelden.

Crazy Christmas and Harbour Cruise Action
Hey everyone! Happy New Year!!!!!! Hope you guys had as much fun as I did! I spent New Year's on Sydney's beautiful Harbour - I had booked myself and a few friends on a cruise to spend the night right beneath the Harbour Bridge. As you can imagine it was just mind-blowing! The view, the atmosphere, the people - just awesome!!!!! I wish I could upload a few movies but that doesn't work on this side - ah well you just have to use your imagination!
My whole Christmas time was just full of parties. Well but that's just the same all over the world I guess. But it was sooo frequently that it took my mind of the sligthest doubt about not going back home for Christmas. Obviously you can't compare our 'real' Christmas in Northern Europe to Chrissy in Australia - it's just too bloody hot down here! Nevertheless it's such a happy time and everyone is so friendly. Would have been stupid not to enjoy this time.
Anyway getting back to my Christmas story. I spent

Ryan's family, Nille, Jesper and I Christmas with lots of friends, which was just awesome! Luckily I was invited for a real Christmas BBQ breakfast on Christmas Day and then Nille, Jesper (Nille's brother) and I spent Christmas with Ryan and his family. They just felt so sorry for us not having our families around - lucky for us cause we had an awesome time so it kinda felt like Christmas - we had the tree, lots of presents and lots of yummie food! Well and to top the whole thing we went to the beach afterwards. How awesome is that! Kinda weird imagining there is snow at home but then again so cool! Then on Boxing Day we had a big party with a heap of friends. We started the morning with a 'barbie', went to the beach and had another 'barbie' later on - obviously drinking beer in the sun, playing frisbee and swimming is quiet exhausting so we had to come back for another meal 😊
The afternoon was full of home-made cocktails, dancing, singing and just being stupid (just really being myself if you ask me 😉 Well you can imagine how the night ended - we all ended up quiet pissed

2 Days later Ryan and I went on a road trip to Byron Bay for 3 days in total. He he we only drove 800km each way - really just a short trip to try out another beach! As if you would do that in Germany! But it was definitely worth it and we had heaps of fun. Well that's what I think anyway - Byron was full of Backpackers and the atmosphere was really nice......cause it was all about sun, beach and beers but hey, I didn't complain!
Well now I'm back to boring life cause I finally started a job.....luckily it's only short-term and finally in February I will start my job/trip as a tour guide. Hi hi Chris is responsible for a group of 50-70 year old's. Do you reckon they will listen to me - ha ha I wish!!! The greatest thing is that my mum will be part of the group and obviously Andre is gonna be the Tour Guide Master - so I am really looking forward to 4 weeks of fun! So stay tuned for another blog in Feb.
