The opera house at night.
Alarm off at 6am - still bleary eyed... watched it - pictures - lovely - back to sleep.... Alarm off again at 9am to pack and check out. Woody as always feeling fine as he never gets a hangover and me feeling dodgy as anything. Battled through the packing though. Turned on the phone for baby news but non yet but a message from work telling me I had got the job I went for an interview for before we left!!! Great news but a bit overshadowed by hang over from hell!!! Up to the Dune House for breakfast and I managed a bit ... James came and joined us after his early morning walk that he made and would you believe it had seen wild camels!!!! Julie hadn't made it though so we said our goodbyes. Without going into too much
detail the breakfast didn't agree with me and with the heat it was not a good look. Made it to the airport though and onto the plane bound for Sydney and our last night, We were both completely shell shocked and the air stewardesses were really nice me and gave us a back row that we could both sit

on together as we had been allocated seats apart. Touch down in a drizzly Sydney and we made our way to the hotel. By this point I was much better but we were both exhausted. The hotel was right near the last apartment and once we had checked in (no booking as Travelocity had booked the wrong date!!) We flopped on the bed
for a well earned rest. We did not think we were going to go out but after an episode of Neighbours - well it had to be done and a shower we decided that we couldn't let the last night go unmarked. We went to the Australian Pub that we could not get into after the bridge climb and had a gourmet pizza each. I had honey mustard chicken - the most chicken I have ever seen in my life and Woody was adventurous and had the emu!!! They were both gorgeous but we were stuffed! Decided to stroll down to
the Opera House which looked amazing and as we had not been up the steps we did that took hundreds of photos and then had a drink in the Opera Bar - soft for me!!! The

hello there!
Hello Kids! Hormones must be racing as your last two entries made me blub like a little baby! What a magical place Ulurulusuraru (rock place with dingos) sounds, and how damn romantic. I have added it to my top 3 places to visit before kicking bucket (Anatartica, Wall of China, Rock) and love the idea that there is champagne around every corner - how very decent of the aboriginals. So you must be off to NZ now? Can't wait to hear all about it, still daydream of emigrating to NZ or Canada everytime I see Brown/Blair on news (discussing anything at all - such a shame CIA assassinations are soooo out of vogue at the mo.), or listen to Terry in the morning (whom I love but he's got a point about the general crapness of this country). You both look so happy in the photos (banana and cheese freakouts aside) and I detect a tan progressing, good show! BIG CONGRATULATIONS on the job as well gorgeous lady, well done you. We'll have to open some bubbles upon your return. No baby yet, like watching paint dry (now officially late, how rude!). Best go, can't wait to hear from you tomorrow. Big love to you both, Ems and Mark xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
