The WHOLE Crowd! The WHOLE Crowd! The WHOLE Crowd!

Our two new additions, Elizabeth & Julia!
We all woke up with excitement on Friday ready for another fun fun weekend here in Oz! Mary Neill was of course up early for work, and of course Lynds and I were enjoying no job haha! At this point we were beginning to get a little stressed out….if you remember the restaurant we both worked at last week, The Beach Pit, they were supposed to call Lynds with her shift times. Of course they didn’t, so Lynds wrote them off for good. If we thought we were sore after the first day of surfing, there is no comparison to the way we felt after two days of the ocean throwing us around! We decided to give it a rest for the day and actively pursue some jobs! I spent the afternoon walking around Manly handing out my resume to anyone that would take it. It became a bit disappointing after a while because most of the restaurants wanted waitresses for longer than four months. Just when I was about to give up on waitressing, I called one more restaurant that had an ad in the paper. I’m not kidding when I say it’s called Ribs ‘n Rumps haha!! The lady

was very friendly and told me to come in and meet her at 6. I was so excited after I met with them and secured a trial run for Saturday night!! If everything went well, I had my job I had been searching for!
With a bit of relief, the three of us decided to head back to the city for another Friday night. We had so much fun last Friday night, that we wanted to give it another shot! This night was even more EXCITING because we had two more travel friends arrive. Julia and Elizabeth grew up with Mary Neill and are here in Sydney for just as long as we are! We were so excited to meet up with them and see them! We all met at this great restaurant in Sydney and enjoyed some yummy food! This was great for the three of us because we have been trying to save money this week by eating in, so this was a lot better! We enjoyed a great meal and then headed out for a night on the town. Elizabeth spent a semester in Sydney so she had some good places to recommend for us to try. We went to a few places before getting the urge to return to our favorite place from last weekend, the Establishment! It was crowded again and definitely as cool as we had remembered from last week! We stayed there the whole night catching up with Julia and Elizabeth, hearing about their travel fiascoes. After getting our fill of Establishment, we headed back because we knew we needed our strength for Saturday, Moving Day.
