Change Ticket

Went down to the Qantas office and they advised to change the ticket would be classed as a destention change and date change which would cost $200. They advised check the web and get a flight to Melbourne then it would just be a date change $25 the cost of the flight is aprox $140 but the coach is $60, so am going to book the overnight coach for Friday getting into Melbourne Sat then see if I can fly from Melbourne to Perth on Sat afternoon. Will need to book the bus ticket today then change the air ticket tomorrow. Also been advised that the new airport in Bangkok has been closed due to problems with the runway's
