From the ferry to manly
We got a taxi to the bus station and then flew from Melbourne Avalon airport early in the morning to Sydney, where we caught a bus then a train to Katoomba in the blue mounains! We managed to sleepin bits most of the way and then got brekkie in an old diner! It was a lovely day :) We walked around the little shops in the village and then headed up to see the three (once seven) sisters. We caught the skyrail across the canyon to get a great view! I think this was my favourite part of the trip! We cooled down in katoomba falls and then walked back up to the station (not before stopping at the chocolate factory first- and it was matthews idea!!!)

We met Gus (matty's friend who kindly let us stay wth him for the weekend) and then met Sal for dinner! We saw the Harbour bridge and opera house all light up in the evening and it was beautiful! The next day we saw them in the daylight and got some great piccies (although close up the opera house is not very white at all!) We mooched around the shops at Bondi junction

From the other side of circular quays
in the avo and Sal showed me the British sweets and treats shop :D before heading to Bondi beach fro a BBQ. I even had a little swim- no sharks lol. We took a ferry over to manly beach on the north shore the next day and gt some close up views of the harbour bridge and opera house so I was happy! we didn't end up with enough time to walk the bridge but maybe next time!

When I got home I was excited to find that there was a little parcel waiting for me all the way from England! Mum sent me an emergency chocolate box :) It's th little things that you miss- like galaxy and REAL cadburys!!!!
