A Bridge With A View

Day 70 (Monday 29/06/09, NJJ)
Bus into the city then we wandered around for a few hours. We got to the Harbour Bridge by 3pm to check in for our bridge climb (our wedding present off Huw and Christine). After the climb preparation our group were out to climb the one of my favourite landmarks in the world. The climb was amazing. We were glad that we'd booked in for the twilight climb as we saw the sun setting and the city lights coming to life from what I think has to be the best viewpoint in the harbour. Back at the start we picked up our group photo (cheesy) and the two photos on CD that we purchased even though the price was a rip off. Chris and Huw drove passed us in the car and we walked all the way to the pub where we'd planned to meet, she said that she thought the pub was closer than it was. Had dinner at 'The Australian', in The Rocks area. Jay and Huw had their first drinks off the list on the 'passports' that they picked up there. Chris and Huw went back to her parents again.
