Sydney and Flying on to Cairns

Hi everyone, Bob and I are now at the airport waiting for our flight out of Sydney and on to Cairns and Port Douglas. We have had a great time here, the first day we just wandered around Darling Harbour and got our barings and took a tram ride round the city. The next day we got a ferry in to Sydney harbour went round the docks, Sydney Opera House and then took another ferry over to Manly.

Manly is a lovely place with glorious beaches and at last we had some really hot weather, unfortunately Bob didn't want to go on the beach as we would have a trip back to in sandy pants! But I went for a paddle and it was lovely.

Sydney Harbour is great, the Opera House and Bridge are as supendous in real life as they look in the pictures.

Last night we took a Showboat cruise along the harbour and saw the places light up at night whilst having a great meal and enjoying a very good show. Thoroughly recommend this.
