Mad Monday @ the asylum

Well, what a time ive had so far at the Asylum!
Met so many new people and had so many good times its been brilliant. The area im in is the backpacker/red light area, so theres loadsa clubs and bars and i am a 2 minute walk from central central sydney and some pretty cool places there,
First night was spent with some american folks with some newcastleish people coming the second night,

And after that all i seem to remember is a haze, as every night has been free drinks in different bars (one night was even free pizzas and that was a whole different story) with the best being bring 20 people and you get 10 pitchers of free beer....that was a bit of a messy night,
Speaking of messy nights, and the subject of mad monday. Its basically every monday you pay $10, and get a big meal and free drinks all night, everyone goes out and it is mad. Starts with meal in the pub then you go back to the common room for the goonathon (goon is cheap wine, 4.4 litres for $7) which just involved drinking games i think we went through something like 6 boxes of the stuff, i mustve had 12 cups in the coin bouncing game, and after that we just went to bars.....i dont remember muich of what happened but i know i was playing twister at one point
Good night actually! haha

The weekend was awesome as annie came to sydney with murray and spent some time here with me which was really really nice (many a big chat happened there)

And i also have managed to get a job, selling farm fresh goods (to your door before 7am might i add....pretty good) the hours are 1pm-6pm, good commision and the office just seems funny, they have a footie pitch on the roof and bean bags everywhere, plus its right next to central station sydney so its in a pretty cool area, (i can get as much sushi as i can physically cram in my mouth whenever i want!)

Im also now on the hunt for a flat for 1-2 months,

so all in all im settling into sydney, but must remember to move on soon!
