Our last full day in Australia we trek back up to Brisbane before flying back to Sydney for one last night at the Harding’s before jetting out to Hollywood tomorrow and a bonkers 44 hour day.

We have been in Australia for 80 days a lot longer than we originally planned but it has flown and we will leave with a heavy heart tomorrow, when we arrived here Philip had never run further than 2.5miles he leaves a marathon runner, we had never raised a copper coin for charity we have raised over a £1000 with more come Philip run shirt signed by the entire Everton 1st team is to be auctioned off and Philip has shed a further two stone since being here.so we leave a less heavey and a little less grey actually he is alot less grey since yesterday! Philip claims everyone has work done for LA

I cant re call a bad day the adventures have been amazing . From the first moment we arrived in Western Australia and saw Louis and Jayne waiting for us it has been the most amazing experience. We made some brilliant friends and saw some amazing old friends. And even now I don’t think Philip can believe he ran a marathon and somewhere in Queensland newspaper will be dropping on breakfast tables telling the tale with the cheesy photos in.

our favourite moments in oz?

I cant begin to start but Philip will always treasure the day he ran to bondi in the rain when he took the decision to do the marathon and of course the marathon or that Everton turned up here when we least expected it. But of course seeing Louis again Philip’s Godson and meeting Madeline and Imogen for the first time was worth the journey alone.

The running tracks and beautiful scenery to the wonderful and slightly bonkers locals we lived the dream, I think we would live here tomorrow but Australia has one big problem its 12000 miles from home from friends, family and of course Bobby Nicholas. But we will return

So we return for our last night in Sydney with birthday presents for Madeline and Imogen they are three on Sunday and unbelievable on our very last day in oz Philip debit card turns up from home it actually arrived on Monday but Philippa god love her decided to hide it till today so when Philip explains to her how he had over an hour on the phone to the natwest and yet another hissy fit whilst on the beach in surfers she just finds it deeply hilarious ,and the more he rants and raves the more she laughs . I think Philip need a new best friend in Sydney ether that or revenge

So tomorrow will be the longest day every but it will end in LA…..
