The Aussie Sahara

Sunday was spent in the desert, well not quite but we did go to the sand dunes in Stockton where one of the Mad Max movies was filmed. The reason for our visit there was to go sand boarding down the dunes which we all found very exciting and lots of fun. The hardest thing about it all was climbing back up the dunes to the top to do it all again.
From Stockton we went to Nelson Bay where we had lunch and took in some more breath taking views and the girls (supposedly) saw dolphins through a borrowed pair of binoculars.
Our evening was spent at the house having a homely meal and watching the 'inbetweeners' whilst drinking a few stubbies, small bottles of beer in English. A pleasant rest from our hectic travels.
