Hey All,

Today we have gone into our 4th State and entered Broken Hill in NSW.
We still haven't seen too much news as our internet connection is with Optus, therefore it is crap and our net drops out a fair bit.
We have been told by a lot of people that we are lucky as we would still be stuck on the Oodnadatta track (don't see a downside to that)
We left Port Augusta this morning after taking our time packing up as we only had about 450 ks to do.
Pretty boring day really, saw a heap of Emu's again so we stopped for some photos the beeped the horn heaps to make them run and they didn't let us down. They were running around like they were dodging bullets, left. right, fall over, run some more. Bit of a pisser really!!!!
We pulled into Broken Hill around 2.30, setup then went for a drive.
Some beautiful old buildings here and about 30 pubs from what we saw. Looked like every corner had a pub and at least one in between each corner too.
Tomorrow we head for the ghost town of Silverton and out to the Sculptures, will let you all know how that goes.
We head home Thursday, it is about 900km to Geelong from here so we thought we will make it a two day trip and come home via Hay and Echuca as we have already done the Mildura road this trip.
And as much as we love our Jayco Dove Outback van, i think Trace is already looking to update to something we can pull over in a rest-stop, get in it and make a coffee or use the toilet when there are none, i have offered to buy her a she-wee but i dont think she will go for that!!!!!
We will see!
