Day 7

Hey All,

This morning we left the Underground Motel in Coober Pedy, had a nice bacon & Eggs breaky at the roadhouse then headed for Port Augusta.
We had a leisurely drive watching all the old trucks heading north and just cruising today.
Saw about 30 Emu's, 2 eagles and heaps of dead cows.
We had the bad weather chasing us but it by-passed Port Augusta so we should be good.
When we got here i got out the camp oven and proceeded to make a beer damper in the camp oven on the gas cooker.
One hour later i had burnt the bottom of the damper but the top half was usable.
Tasted like CRAP!
Too much beer in it, not enough salt.
We thru it out, went into town and had Chinese.
Tomorrow we are only driving around 350km to Broken Hill and will have 2 days there then head back to Geelong
