Newell FallsNewell FallsNewell Falls

If the falls are flowing very quickly they block the road.
Leisurly morning.
We drove into Dorrigo to take a look at the local markets. There was quite a bit of local produce but not much else really.
We then drove down the mountain to a little town called Thor as we had heard that there were two waterfalls that were along the roadside of the mountain drive.
It was a very steep decline and there is a section of the road which is reduced to one lane as a result of a landslide 12 months ago (why hasn't it been repaired??)
The two waterfalls are the Newell Falls and Shephard Falls. If there is a lot of rain the Newell Falls spray across the main road and the local council block the road until it is safe to pass. I am sure this would cause a great incovenience to the locals.
After lunch we went for another walk down to the Dangar Falls which were a two minute walk from the Caravan.
