Cheddar Cheese Curds! Flavour? Jalapeno
Good morning!

Here is the answer to yesterday's Roadtrip Trivia: jalapeno cheddar cheese curds. And they were yummy!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of seeing more beautiful scenery changes as we drove through New Mexico and Arizona. And today, we are Vegas Bound for my sister Josée's wedding. Mike has a can of quarters that he has been saving all trip. But he just informed me that they are not for the casino. He plans on playing with bills. Oh! Oh!

After we left Santa Rosa, we decided to stop for lunch in Santa Fe. Mike says he hates Santa Fe. It was a little snooty for his liking. And he chose to order tuna salad sandwich at a restaurant that offered much more interesting fare. Too bad for him! The houses in Santa Fe are really neat. They are made of adobe clay and have flat roofs. Unfortunately, we were not able to snap pictures in Santa Fe, but you will notice pictures of a Pueblo Indian Reserve which has essentially the same housing. How much do you figure we paid for one of these tacos?
Albuquerque, we saw some taco trucks and I had to stop. They were very good!

Today's Roadtrip Trivia: Who can guess how much one of these tacos cost?

In reading the fine print for our hotel reservation in Vegas, I noticed that the Internet there is not free! So, you may have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for morre pictures and anecdotes.

I leave you with funny or interesting names seen on signs from the road: Dumas (Texas); Bushland (Texas); Deaf Smith County (Texas); Show Low (Arizona); Two Guns (Arizona); Twin Arrows (Arizona). Warnings signs: Gusty Winds May Exist (New Mexico); Zero Visibility Possible (New Mexico). Still, nothing beats the "Home for Funerals" we saw in Kentucky!

Until later,

Cheers!

Oh, and a shout out to my friend Lyne who is celebrating her birthday today, April 6. Bonne fête, ma belle! Je te souhaite une journée extraordinaire! Je t'aime beaucoup! xox
