Day 3

In the morning after eating a Continental breakfast, we took a drive to the coast, stopping at Venice Beach.

The beach is quite wide & there is a long pier - there were many people fishing. We then did a 30 minute walk along the beach path, where we saw many sports activities including a open air Gym, Basketball courts, Handball courts & Tennis Courts.

We then drove to Santa Monica & found a free multi-storey car-park. At Santa Monica there is a another Pier, but this one is much bigger & has a Carnival, Restaurants, Shops & stalls.

After visiting the Pier we headed back to the shops & had lunch.

Then we went to Beverley Hills & drove around the Rodeo Drive area where all the Name Brand (i.e. expensive) shops are located.

We saw a crowd of people outside the Lladro shop - apparently, the late Michael Jackson was doing his shopping & they closed the shop to the public.

We drove back to LA, in the evening most of our Party when to watch Basketball, however Ruby & I just had dinner at Denny's Dinner.
The Laker's won (convincingly).
