First vegoil fill
Feeding the Nebuchadnezzar its new diet. About five miles north of Janesville Wisconsin we ran into a traffic jam due to construction. Our average speed was about 10 mph. The change in speed woke me up. At one point we came to a complete stop. With the engine not revving I could hear a sound like someone left a faucet running. There was an antifreeze leak in the veg oil fuel tank. We pulled over at a rest stop. After a bit of inspection found that a switch in the cabin had been flipped by mistake. No major damage, just an inconvenience and a little more stress.
We drove on into the night. Brian drove from Minneapolis to around Crawfordsville, Indiana, where I took over @ around 11:00, until about Grayson, Kentucky. Laurie drove most of the last leg starting at around 4:30 am. Gruelling in all. The Nebuchadnezzar ran from about 9:30 am to about 2pm the next day...non-stop...281/2 hours without a break.
