Day 17:

Gena & I got up at 6 and managed to break camp and be gone by 7:30. Getting out of the park was slow despite there being no traffic, just a fairly steep and windy road. We stopped in Oakhurst, CA to get fuel and to buy a souvenir. We also stopped in Fresno at a Walmart to get groceries, and found that all the Walmarts in Fresno just have a minimal food service - - so wound up at a WinCo Food store - - Gena says it was the biggest food store she'd ever set foot in. We actually thought we might get to Morro Bay by just after noon - - but, because of a really windy section of road (Took CA 41 all the way from Yosemite to Morrow Bay) and two LONG waits for single lane road due to construction, we actually got there about 4 PM. We had intended to stay at Morrow Bay SP, but a phone call to them from Fresno revealed that all their spaces with hookups were already booked. So we wound up a a very nice regional park about 10 miles south of
