Shoegazing is the art of photographing your own feet. Many people shoegaze. First you come to a place where you may feel comfortable or scared maybe even nervous. It can be a monument, a known city or even your backyard. The place doesn't matter unless it matters to you enough to take a picture. Yes, I have participated in shoegazing before. I have seen a tons of pictures of shoegazing online. Yes I believ there are things in the American culture that are considered to be "the beautiful norm". Society establishes these norms by following many people like celebrities. I believe that beauty comes from how you view yourself and treat yourself. It also comes from personality. If a person doesn't believe he or she has beauty then most likely people around them wont either.
