I did my article on Veterans Day 2011 some reasons why I did this is because veterans day has just passed an I wanted to know more about the day. Some things I found interesting were that every year on November eleventh at Arlington National Cemetery at eleven in the morning there is a ceremony for the soldiers who have passed during the war. There are flowers and wreths laying on the "unkonwn" tombs of men and women who were in the war. This is not the only ceremony site either, there are numerous sites in the region that are set up to remember the men and women who served in the armed forces. Throughout the United States there is also parades and special events for men and women who have served in the armed forces.
