many things are happening these days.
me mums has come for a visit.
we ate lettuce out of my first ever planted "garden". i did some planting and am even watering. i planted watermelon, squash, tomatoes, corn, eggplant, etc. (can't remember all and i am away from home). i was taking care to water, though that has been about all i have done or intend to do. if i get vegetables it will be what we call in louisiana 'lagniappe'= a little something extra.
i was surprised to be somewhat bothered when i left home that i was concerned for the garden. i hope it survives my absence.
i took mums climbing with me and she could not help herself. before i knew it she was up on the wall like a 'blue haired' spider. see photo.
we also visited a quirky place called 'bishop's castle'. it is a "one-man" built monstrosity, er 'castle', (he says he started it alone while his dad says that he started it. no matter they are both nuts (though the elder is now under the moat). it is an impressive place despite all of the peculiarities and dangers associated with
bishop
this is a hodge-podge assortment of welded steel about 150feet in the air, and it supports a CRANE!! gives new meaning to the term 'heads up'. it.
