On the opposite end of the state from Cheyenne is Rock Springs – another mining community – and home of Western Wyoming Community College. I talked to Carol, Director of Workforce Training. She had to take off early and we could not make it to her campus location at Green River (20 miles from Rock Springs) before they closed for the weekend. Carol was aware of our partnerships with other community colleges in Wyoming and she heard lots of good things. I updated her on our new products and company changes on the phone. She had just hired someone to expand allied health programs and work with the local hospitals and was very interested. I left information packets at the main campus to be sent to her office and will follow up next week.

It is obvious that Wyoming has money - the colleges are all beautiful.
