Stopped for breakfast in Shoshone at a cafe by the side of the road, a transport type cafe and had one of the best breakfasts of the trip so far, crispy bacon, sausage meat, eggs over easy, hash browns, toast and endless cups of coffee - came to $12 for the both of us.

Had a good ride to Thermopolis where we got held up with roadworks, where we ended up on a 5 mile stretch of unmade up roads, more challenging stuff. As we picked up the tarmaced road once again en route to Cody we had a big lorry behind us, but they sure go at a pace, and I've seen 'Duel', so I made sure we didn't hold him up. The car in front however wasn't having any of it, and he ended up with that truck on his tail pretty well a whole 83 miles!

Spent the afternoon at the Bill Cody museum. Interesting to see the town as it started out.

Planning on setting off earlyish tomorrow to see if we can find a site to camp. There are a number of first come first served camp sites just outside Yellowstone, and we're hoping to nab one of those as we are quite close by. If we are successful, its unlikely I will be back online for a while, but it is memorial day weekend and bound to be crazy busy.
