Italy tomorrow!

We are beginning our long trip to Italy, and then on to Slovenia and Croatia! We spent the night with Luke, Alannah, and Greyson, and Terri...We are a bit delayed leaving because of severe weather in Chicago, but hopefully our flight to Venice will still leave on time...once in Venice, we pick up a rental car and drive an hour up to the base of the Dolomite mountains to our small rental house in Piece d'Alpago... We will stay there for 5 nights.

I was a primary teacher in a K-12 alternative school. In 2006, I took a leave for four months, travelling through Central America. I visited schools and studied Spanish along with being a tourist. My class followed my travels through this blog. I have continued to use this blog to keep friends, family and my students connected to my travels, recently in Mexico and now Kenya! 2009 I am now retired and my husband and I hope to do even more traveling!
