Baby it's cold outside!

As I sit here writing this there is glorious sunshine streaming through the window. But that wasn't the case the other day when we had our first taste of snow.
It was great to drive through the white mountains and see some of the great views. We have been trying to walk places but America really isn't designed for such things. For example Fiona had the idea the other day to walk to a 'local' information center, which took us about 3 hrs round trip! And to top it we didn't even get there as it began to rain!
Fiona put her birthday rally driving lessons to good effect yesterday as we meandered along a dirt road towards a reservoir. We didn't see much wildlife, though driving at 40mph in a 4x4 probably scared off the moose!
Tomorrow we leave Manchester and we're not sure where we'll be heading, so who knows where the next blog will come from!
