Livin' la vida loca!

Hi all, I'm writing this having just had a relaxing swim and jacuzzi session in our luxury hotel just south of Boston, well deserved me thinks after our mini tour of New England this past week! After we left Manchester in Vermont last Saturday we headed northeast to New Hampshire and the White Mountains for more hiking/trees/beautiful countryside. On Monday we then drove south all the way to Rhode Island and the seaside town of Newport - very different from the Newport in Wales! Lovely and sunny when we arrived with long sandy beaches, clifftop walks and big mansions. We thought the hotel we stayed in there was pretty luxurious but this one might top it. The next day was blinking freezing though so we went for a bit of a drive then watched a film on the 42" flatscreen inroom TV before driving to the city of Providence to meet with friend Ann. On Wednesday we drove along the coast to Cape Cod and the gay mecca of Provincetown right on the tip, again beautiful beaches and scenery, and our guesthouse was nice too, with the men staying there getting ready for a big halloween party! Today we drove just south of Boston to return the car (sob sob) tomorrow morning and get the Chinatown (i.e. cheap but rickety) Bus to New York City! We drove here through rush hour traffic too - not a good idea - but M has been doing his fair share of driving and I have to say he is definitely calmer under pressure than me! Although he has been bibbed at once or twice!! And don't worry,we have coupons that give us discounts at these luxury hotels so we're not splashing out completely, although we're certainly not 'roughing' it as much as we probably should be! Still enjoying cake muffins and pancakes for brekkie but we are eating about two meals a day so I might not come back too big Trace! And how good was spurs equalising with the gooners?! M was rather disappointed ha ha! And I hear snow in London?? It's been pretty cool here too, but very mixed with sun one day and showers the next. Anyway, off to the Big Apple tomorrow for a week, we won't expect too much sleep and will keep you posted on our next adventures! M is upstairs watching TV so I better go join him and sit by the fire in our room! Ta ra for noo! xx

...guys.So,Mi driving and no crashes? wow!.this US trip is working wonders.Seriously folks,enjoying the blogs..also it must be said Mike,the picture of you washing ,you`re getting to look like Mr Bean every day(Only Joking!).Continue to enjoy and start looking for cheaper Hotels..
