Nineteen of us left Salt Lake City early on March 31st for four days of backpacking in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The first camping spot was in the wind and we were on sand, which meant the sand blew into our tents. We moved to higher ground. And since the tent was already erected, we just moved it as it was...through a river, up into a grassy field and then up a hill onto a plateau. Yeah, we're awesome like that.
