Poor Little Baby !
He was motionless for hours !! We covered a lot of ground yesterday and boy did we feel it when we hit the sack last night in Moab, Utah ! We were both so exhausted I don't think we even remember falling asleep. The heat out here is so different than back at home, it's not as humid but it is hot as fire. The sun is so bright you can't even hardly open your eyes without sunglasses on and it just beams down on you like rays of fire. I guess it finally got to Tim because he couldn't even get out of bed this morning. He was so sick he couldn't move. He did finally make it to the bathroom where he started vomiting repeatedly. I got ready and started looking for a medical center or doctor's office while he laid across the bed. There was no type of medical help here unless we wanted to be taken to the nearest hospital, so Tim decided he would wait it out in the motor home. I proceeded to doctor him up and then I went on into town to get some hot pancakes at the Pancake Haus. I knew he would need more time to rest,
City of Moab, Utah !
This is the quaint little town we stayed in last night ! so I proceeded to make my way in and out of all the little shops in Moab buying up souvenirs here and there. As I was looking at these cool t-shirts, my telephone rang and it was Amber. My prayers were answered, she told me that she had a job interview on Thursday morning at 11:00 at the Solace Center Spa and Salon ! (Please Pray !) I'm not sure who was more excited, me or her !! This incredible news was sure to make Tim feel all better so I couldn't wait to tell him all about it. After answering all of Amber's questions and sharing the good news with her I called Tim to see how he was coming along. He said he needed about 30 more minutes and then he was going to try to get a shower. I went on to more stores and eventually stopped in a small coffee shop where I met a really sweet girl. We talked for a while and then I phoned Tim and told him he needed to come pick me up. He had showered and was able to move around some, so we may our way down the road
"Balancing Rock"
This is the formation called "Balancing Rock" in Arches National Park. to Arches National Park. We drove through the park admiring all the sculptured rock scenery and watching for wildlife. You won't find any pictures of us in this park because Tim was still feeling yucky so we didn't really stop a lot. We never spotted any animals but we did enjoy seeing all the arches that we had read about and seen on TV. Arches National Park was definitely worth the drive and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys hiking and nature and those sorts of things. (Just not in the middle of July !). We stopped by the post office on our way out of town to mail more post cards and then we were off to Canyonlands National Park. After backtracking up the road a little ways, we hit highway 313 and we were there in no time. Tim was beginning to feel a little bit better, but still not 100 %, so we just took our time riding through the park. We were able to see some amazing sights like the Island in the Sky, Candlestick Tower, Buck Tower, the Mesa Arch, Willow Flats, and the Green River Overlook. Going through this park is like
"Delicate Arch"
I can see Jason trying to get up there to this arch ! viewing a wilderness of rock with a beautiful river flowing right through the center of it. Tim did get out for a few pictures and then we were back on the road to try to make it all the way down to Bluff, Utah for the night. We passed the Hole'n the Rock on the way but we couldn't stop because it was already closed. Then we passed Looking Glass Rock but we couldn't get to it because there was a huge sign that said "NO RV's or Big Trucks". We did however get to see Wilson's Arch which looked a lot like the arches we had seen earlier in Arches National Park. Our trip down to Bluff took us through Monticello and Blanding before we finally made it to The Cadillac Ranch RV Park. This is where we settled in for the night. It was really small but it was cute. I got out and fed the little ducks some bread while Tim got everything hooked up. He came in and went straight to bed in hopes of a better day tomorrow and I cleaned up a little. We're off to check out Mexican Hat, Utah and Mesa Verde
"The Devil's Garden"
This was a neat looking area in Arches National Park. National Park in the morning so wish us luck !!
