19 Feb - Chisos Basin to Castolon
Today planned on hiking the Santa Elena Canyon trail. Drove over to Castolon via the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive. Had intended to get a campsite at the Cottonwood Camp but it must have been an old sand dune that a thin layer of grass had overgrown. Everything was covered with a layer of dust and every time someone else drove through the campground it added another layer. I decided to tour the canyon and then drive back out the ross Maxwell Scenic route and then West to Terlingua. More on that in the next entry.
