Mt. Rushmore - Day 7

Yesterday looked like a great day for a train trip so we drove to Hill City to get on the Black Hills Central Railroad (1880 Train). More beautiful scenery & a great way to travel! What train trip would be complete with out stopping at the local Christmas store. I think the store is going to have to reorder after Kay finished shopping. I may have to ride on the hood on the way home to accomodate the packages.

We capped off the day with an evening ceremony at Mount Rushmore. A video was shown commemorating the four presidents that concluded with a flag ceremony. All servicemen & women present (active duty & retired) were recognized & invited down to the stage to participate. This was another high watermark for this trip. More tomorrow.
