These are just a few images of what we have been up to during our first week - in PINEHURST.

This really is the most lovely place! Beautiful "Fall" colours under bright blue Carolina skies. The first week the weather has been wonderful - no winter coats yet! ............. more soon!

"The Annual Turkey Trot"
Preparing for the start of the half-marathon. This race has a 1 fun run - a 5 km run - 10km run and a half-marathon. So something for everyone - and there were a lot of participants. A Thanksgiving event!

Our very first Thanksgiving - and what a great evening we had! Delicious food and great company - at the McCalls home.

Skirt Derby - 2010-Setting up!
Can anyone unravel the puzzle? Note the end result - I don't think anyone quite unravelled the puzzle - until later on in the day!!!

The 2010 Skirt Derby - a 50 km race - out in the "sticks". We were helping on one of the Aid Stations - very, very cold!!
