ALL GOOD THINGS HAVE TO END!!

Tomorrow we leave PERTH and head home!! The past weeks have simply flown by - or so it seems - but we have packed so much into our time away - and will return with so many wonderfully happy memories.

What have we done since coming back to Perth from Brisbane and New Zealand? Well apart from sniffing and sneezing - wheezing and coughing - suffering various bouts of D & V - ear infections and allergic re-actions to anti-biotics - not a lot of what tourists would do! However, we are not and did not intend to be tourists - so we have spent loads of hours with our family - got to know so much about our cutest of cute grandson - and been able to help out during the many sick bugs!! (Aubrey is the only one who has remained healthy througout!)

Not everything was bad - and these are some of the highlights of the stay in PERTH.

Playing games with exclusive kids toys for hours on end!! (Clothes pegs and cardboard boxes)
A visit to FREEMANTLE - or if you speak Aussie - FREEO!!
A "Darling Buds" Tea Party - want to know more - ask Lorna
Walks in the Wetland Area nearby
A picnic at Lake Mungo totally surrounded by seagulls, coots, ducks and some rather aggressive looking black swans!!!
A trip to the beach - 10 minutes away - which helped to cheer us all up!
and
today - on our last afternoon here we are off to CHOCOLATE SHOP!!

We will be very, very sad to leave - but very, very glad that we have had this opportunity to see all our precious family and to re-connect with them.
