We arrived in New Bern to see our cruising buddies, Marcia and Jon from Non Linear. They have bought a 3 bedroom condo in the same development as Scandia and Quisqueya. So we are familiar with this area. Been here a few times, our regular stop. We stayed with them 2 nights, the 2nd night we went to dinner down by the marina restaurant with a bunch of cruisers. Amongst them was Jerry and Barb from Kumbaya, which we have also seen every year since we met in 2005. Think we originally met them in GGT. They have a summer house in San Diego, and a house in New Bern which they rent. They are headed for the Bahamas next week for the season. We envy them, oh well.
