Yankee Stadium before the game
After a terribly quiet day yesterday, I had to make sure that I did something productive today. So I met up with Amy and walked around Times Square for a while going photo crazy, then caught the subway to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx to go see a baseball game to which we had booked tickets earlier. We arrived at the Stadium and had a look through the merchandise stores as I wanted to buy a Yankee top, but I had no idea which name to get, plus they were pretty expensive to buy so I didn't bother. We moved on into the stadium, went all the way to the top and found our seats. I went to get some snacks and got back just as the game was starting. It was the New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers. I had an idea what was going on but sometimes I still got a little confused to what was going on. We stayed for around an hour and a half, by then were so bored that we decided to leave, it was in the 6th innings and the Yankees were easily winning. We decided that we'd go back to Serendipity 3 and

try to get a table this time. First we headed to Times Square and got something to eat as we were starving, then we headed to Serendipity 3. We put our name down and begun the long wait to get a table.

Finally after waiting over an hour and a half and standing in the restaurant lobby looking at the souvenirs for ages, we heard our name called. You feel so important and special when you hear your name called out from the many people standing around waiting for their table. As you walk past them they look at you with jealous eyes, it was great, it was finally our turn. A waiter took us to out table where he presented us with the massive menu. I'd seen this show on television before so I knew exactly what I wanted......a frrrrozen hot chocolate, this place is famous for them. We also wanted to try another one of these amazing desserts so we had a look and ordered the "Outrageous Banana Split". After a short wait they came out...Oh My God, they looked amazing and when I tasted them they were just incredible. I have never had such an amazing

dessert. It was worth every minute of the long wait, just delicious. After stuffing our faces with the best dessert ever, we eventually managed to get up and left Serendipity 3 and went back to our hostel to sleep.
