The highline is an old train track that goes right thru buildings converted into a walking trail. Very nice for a walk and good views. Nice gardens. Meat Packing district of NYC

Frying Pan is an old barge that is now a resturant that sits on The Hudson River.. Next to it is an old fishing boat that was recovered and cleaned and sailed it up to NYC. It sits next to the frying Pan. You can access the boat and eat and drink on it. NYC

It's open to walk on from early morning to 11PM. On the New Jersey side there is an Old fort on the right side and down below is Cliffside Park. Nice hiking area, bycycling. drive with good views of Manhatten
