NYC Bonnet Parade. Every Easter day the city closes 47TH st. to 58th street on 5th ave. From 10AM to 4PM. People come out in decorated hats for spring. It's not organised so you can wear what you want and parade around. It's fun for the kids and dogs and all the family. It was the first time I went.
