Hi Hi Hi

Well I was still sick today 😞 The sinus pressure creates pain in my teeth, nose, sinus and head. Anyway, I tried to sweat it out at the hotel pool in the hot sun and also in the hottub.

Pool was fine today and Don & I were talking to this lady, 47 yrs old, from Michigan, I think, in the hot tub who's here with her husband -- who doesn't come down t to the pool. They are both war vets with serious injuries and on medication all the time. Terrible.

My somewhat Melanie tan is coming along nicely with my combination of 15 spf, 30 spf and 45 spf for different areas and no sunscreen on my arms.

then we rushed to get ready as we were going to hockey game at the Orleans Hotel. It was an exhibition game of San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks. We were sitting in row 5 for $22 😊 This arena is very small -- it's smaller than the Pacific Coliseum back home. But it's nice and clean and nice people work there. The first two rows are more expensive, then pretty much the remaining rows are all one price -- weird pricing since back home a whole section will be more expensive, etc. We realized at start of game that there were no "real" players in the game and not even the "real" coaches came. All rookies. But one neat thing was that the goalie for San Jose Sharks was "Sexsmith" who was from Vancouver Giants and Don said he helped us win Memorial Cup two years ago. People here get sooo excited about the games and when fights start they all stand up and cheer and scream and such. Like they've never seen it before. I'm like "whatever" -- happens all the time and at giants games, etc.

I had a gross-ish hot dog for dinner - reminded me of costco hotdogs that I hate 😊 Stuff is cheap at this arena though - crackerjacks are like $2.00 -- don & I's hot dog and super big drink was only like $11. Back home - stuff would be like $20

We met some nice people there -- two guys sitting next to me were from Regina and were staying at MGM for the week. Then a couple on the other side of Don -- the guy was originally from Vancouver. Now he & his wife have a house just oustide Vegas and another one in Phoenix.

Anaheim Ducks won.

Then we stopped at CVS Pharmacy on the way home. That place is great. They had an entire section of booze and it's sooo cheap - whatever Don bought - 60 lber or something was only $23.99? I got Keiko those dog stairs -- back home and even my cheap magazines I can't find them cheaper than like $50. They were $9.99!! They also had doggie approved chocolate chip cookies, but I don't want Keiko getting fat anymore. Don already says she needs the stairs because she's fat. It's because of her bad leg. Anyway, I don't know what we bought - bottled water, dog stairs, cold drugs for me, magazines and tonnes of snacks, but it added up to $100! Crazy

Then we went back to hotel. Unpacked all the stuff. went down to lucky's since I didn't really eat anything all day. I had a sliced banana and peanut butter toast. Don had french onion soup.

Then watch TV and off to bed. We were actually in bed by 1 am this time. Early for us.
