Flights cancelled=Spontaneous drive to Chicago!

Well, a rocky start to the trip has tested everyone's resolve and patience. But some good problem-solving has hopefully made it possible for the team to get to India on time, and on the original flight from London. We'll see. Here's what happened (in a nutshell):
Tornadoes and severe weather in the Chicago area caused flight cancellations, subsequently filling up later flights we had hoped to catch. Add to the mix that all car rental agencies in the area were out of cars (go figure). Add again the fact that flights tomorrow are full too. Total bummer.
Tim and Lainie to the rescue. They are driving the team to Chicago as I write this, and hope to catch the 7:15 to London (a flight only 2 hours later than the original). So the prayer is 1. that they drive safely though some rough weather, 2. that they make it to O'Hare on time, 3. that the flight to London isn't cancelled when they get there, and 4. that the rest of the flights go as scheduled.

Well, it all makes for some good stories anyhow. And as I say, "There's always somethin'."
