At a small and very tasty yogurt/ice cream shop we passed on the way back to the North Station right before the bridge. Delicious smoothies and malts...forgot the name, but the sign is very colorful
Energized from our delectable dairy desserts, we made our way to my brother's trusty blue chrome steed and headed for Lexington. We only walked along Lexington Battle Road a little past the spot where Paul Revere was captured before heading back due to the fading daylight. It was fun trying to imagine the revolutionary history emboldened in Lexington and were intrigued by number of rock fences we saw. Walden Pond was a good experience as well despite the fact that we could only reach half of it due to the flooding. It is basically just a large pond with nice paths in between moderately to densely wooded areas. Many mosquitoes though. It is one of my brother's favorite running/biking paths. We even saw one swimmer braving the cold waters for some fun.

With our socks wet and our shirts slightly sweaty, we made our way to Not Your Average Joe's for dinner. Both of us ordered the Crab Cake BLT which proved more novel than tasty. However, the bread was absolutely fantastic...service not so much. After a short break, we fit in a workout at Planet Fitness and then closed the evening with another session of Borderlands!

I packed my things and said goodbye to Boston enjoying one last ride on a subway system that is actually convenient.

Way too cold, especially seeing how flooded the pond is now after the March rains - you couldn't even get to the waterside path anymore!
